Obras de Amor
Obras de Amor is one of the benevolent ministries of our church. One of our mottos here at Templo Calvario is “soy bendecido para bendecir” (I am blessed to bless). This not just a catch phrase but something we do in our daily lives and something we support financially.
Each month Obras de Amor distributes 15-20 tons of food to families in need and partner organizations. Through the years God has provided us with the tools to do this (warehouse, refrigeration rooms, trucking and much more).
Kingdom Coalition
Although we do serve families from our surrounding neighborhoods, most of our product is distributed to 20-25 organizations that make up the Kingdom Coalition. They come each week and pickup product that is later distributed in their communities.
Volunteers
Although we do have a small staff, most of the work is done by volunteers. Please consider joining our team of volunteers that are making a difference in the lives of thousands of hungry people each week.
Weekly Schedule
- Tuesday - Family Impact - 8 AM
- Thursday - Emergency Assistance - 8 AM
- Friday - Kingdom Coalition - 9 AM to 3 PM
