The vision of Children’s Ministries of Templo Calvario is to reach the children of Santa Ana and surrounding communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to see God transform our community starting with the youngest of children providing them with opportunities to grow in God with the tools and skill to stand as children of the living God.
Our passion for children is birthed from our ministerial background. We are Buzz and Susie Stewart, Childrens Pastors here at Templo Calvario. We have been involved with children for over 25 years, ministering to them in churches in California, and Alaska. We have also ministered at special events in El Salvador, Mexico and Guatemala. Buzz has served as International Director of Streetside Live – an outreach program impacting the schools, parks and churches. God has used this ministry to reach thousands of children with the message of Christ in Mexico. Buzz has recently been instrumental in the formation of a Vocational School for the youth of Honduras. Susie, raised in El Salvador, the daughter of pioneer missionaries Sterling and Lois Stewart, brings a heart to reach the lost in the United States and to the Hispanic people.

Children’s programs and service schedule:
Nursery
We have a fully staffed nursery and special program for toddlers during all services with bilingual instruction.
Sunday Mornings
Kids Zone is targeted for Boys and Girls - pre-School to 6th Grade; a special 2 hour program that integrates worship, praise, missions education and most importantly teachings from Gods Word. We utilize weekly children’s church service and classroom instruction that is focused on building your child’s faith. The values and biblical principles your child will carry with them the rest of their lives is set by the age of eight and their spiritual commitment is set by thirteen. Our teachers passion is to see the biblical foundations set in their hearts and minds before they leave their classroom.
Sunday Kid Zone Services are at:
- 8:00am – In Kids Zone
- 10:00am – In Kids Zone
- 12:00pm – In Kids Zone
Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Royal Rangers and MPact (previously Missionettes) are our excellent programs on Thursday Night (Family Night)
- Royal Rangers for the boys (Pre-school through 6th Grade) is a time tested program designed to meet their growing spiritual needs. Check out the link for more information - Royal Rangers (add link to R.R.)
- MPact Girls Club is offered for girls Pre-school through 6th Grade, and is designed with growing girls in mind, to help them grow emotionally and spiritually in the things of God. Please check the link for more information. (add link to Missionettes),
